I would suggest anyone willing to ship heavy objects not do so, use that money to buy more canned goods, and donate them to your local food pantry.
I don't know why you need them, but if your going to donate them, there is no need to spend resources to ship them to you when we can do so ourselves.

One think that you can do, and it would be easier then getting food shiped to you is have a food drive. I do one every year with the girl scouts and boy scouts. One saturday you but paper bags at everyones door step with a paper on it saying to put the bag back out next week with food in it. I always brings in tons of food and helps lots of familys.
