Nerdfighters

So right now i'm trying to create the ultimate book list, let me be clear i haven't read all of these books (read some), this list is being created (not finished) from many different must read books from the internet, suggestions, personal opinions, influential books and so on (including the blurbing book club). So i just wanted your opinions on other books that should be on the list (Please be sure it's not already on their) for the sake of practicality, i put the last name in brackets and cap locks before the title, so when you're trying to find the book, you know where it is faster.
thanks for the help

Honestly, I think this list is complete.  I actually want to use this as my book list.

thanks

well that is just a fantastic list. I may borrow it. Sorry.

Honestly, great list. Only additions I can think of that I don't think are here: The Outsiders- S.E Hinton, The Giver- Lois Lowry and possibly the Inheritence series by Christopher Paolini.

All by Haruki Murakami

  • Norwegian Wood
  • South of the Border, West of the Sun
  • Dance, Dance, Dance
  • Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak definitely needs to be on this list.

Agreed; it's one of the best books I've ever read.

Loving the list! I'd add 'The hundred year old man who climbed out of the window and disappeared' by Jonas Jonasson. Deeply in love with this book. It's my number one gift to all my friends. I practically wave it in front of my friends' noses and wait for them to start reading it so I can watch them enjoy it as much as I did.

Hm, I've got that book, but haven't read it yet... I will though :D

the giver and Enders game

Other great books you might want to add: (I haven't properly read through your list so I'm not entirely sure if you've got these or not)

* John Fowles - The Collector

* Erin Morgenstern - The Night Circus

* David Almond - My Name is Mina

Hatchet by Gary Paulson, and although it's still a pretty new series, the Divergent series by Veronica Roth.
