I'm one of five people who make up a project called Bus 52. We want to show that despite all the bad news in the media, there are people who are doing truly amazing things for their communities.
So we are traveling around the USA for this year (we started in January) and we're making short documentary videos about people who are doing inspiring and innovative things for others.
We live in a big, blue converted school bus called Stanley and we are hoping to do 100 stories this year (we've done 43 so far and have visited over 20 states).
I wanted to share this because our videos are just about the great things people are doing and to show that Good Stuff Happens.
Please check them out (http://www.youtube.com/bus52videos) and share them with people you think might enjoy the amazing things people are doing. They're great if ever you need a pick-me-up. Our website is bus52.com.
If you know of anyone doing great things near you, please let us know! We're always looking for amazing stories!
Thanks and DFTBA!!
This is awesome!!
Awesome! i don't know if this qualifies as innovative, but I run a blog dedicated to destigmatizing depression. we'll be selling tshirts in the fall and we've gotten pretty big recently. I also interview bands and write articles for madlyjuicy.com and examiner.com, even though I'm 16.
okay, shameless self promotion over.
