It is a lie to say "Homosexuality is not Deviant"

Some guys goes around saying homosexuals are not deviants and I tell him he is wrong and a lier, he says that they are not deviant because is legal and they can get married and mentions other stuff not related to deviance.

I tell him to read the definition of the word deviant (homosexuality fits the definition of deviance in many dictionaries definitions) and I toll him that legality and marriage and all the other stuff he mentions got nothing to do with making something deviant or not (as there are many things that are totally legal and totally deviant) PS: I'm a deviant too, but I don't go around lying saying I'm not. He is "sugarcoating" homosexuality with lies and making it sound like the perfect sexual orientation, and twisting the definition of a word deviant, he's not helping homosexuals by telling lie.

Gays are deviants, but so are nerds.

The term "deviant" usually has negative connotations, so I can totally see why he would get a little pissed at you.
