People kill animals for different reasons. Some for 'experience', for their meat, and others just because they hate animals. What is your opinion on killing animals?

You are so right, dude. We don't need any of the animal oils that are imperative to modern medicines. Those guys with Alzheimer's? Screw them, we need fish oil to slow the progression of their brain decay, and we can't have that fish blood on our conscience!

linseed has similar oils. ground some up and put it in your cereal, salad, bread.

Flaxseed too, but it's not as easily digested as the oils that come from animals. The best kind is actually Krill oil. It's absorbed, I'm not completely sure of the number but I think it is, 7 times as well as fish oil.

same thing. i am used to saying lin because of german. if you grind it fine it works better,
it's a matter of what you get and what is sustainable.

Even if you grind it fine, it doesn't work better than Krill oil.

I'm allergic to a lot of seeds and nuts and whatnot. I'll take the fish. Over, you know, hives and vomit.

well, allergies suck. i have some myself. but you can't let them determine everything.

pity though we have done that stupid, wastefull overfishing, with those huge nets, throwing dead baby fish back into the water, so there are not even enough to breed.

stupid, stupid, stupid.

and people is senegal who need fish desperatly lose their lifelyhood while some big trawler takes all.

How about the fact that to get the necessary vitamins and proteins we need to sustain ourselves, we need to eat meat or other animal derivatives? Do you have any idea just how useful fish oil is, not only to regulate cholesterol or stimulate growth in the frontal cortex, but also to combat the mental/physiological effects of Alzheimer's?

I get that you aren't a vegan, so perhaps I'm preaching to the choir. The reason for eating meat, to me, is a simple one. Eating meat is healthy. Not that processed McDonalds junk, of course, but good meat does loads more than just protein, definitely more than I know.

you don't need need it. if you know how to eat well. you certainly don't need huge amounts.

Actually, you tend to need the benefits which physically digesting meat gives to the GI tract, as well as the Omega3 fatty acids.

I mean, maybe you don't, but I like to be... healthy, so I do.

The Christianity reason is illogical to any Christian who has read his/her Bible. If you get hit with this one, recommend that they read Genesis 1:29&30.

On the overpopulation front-- if we stopped raising animals for food, then they wouldn't be born. So that's a little silly.
