Killing Animals.

People kill animals for different reasons. Some for 'experience', for their meat, and others just because they hate animals. What is your opinion on killing animals?

I don't think it's necessary unless it has become a danger to itself, others of its race or people.
I don't support eating meat or hunting. I think it's a vile abuse of human power.

I think they should only be killed if you're going to eat it or the animal is in great suffering.

Personally, i feel that America should convert all of the land we use for livestock to graze on into farmland where we grow vegetables and grains and stuff. If we did this we would have way too effing much food, and then we could feed just about every starving person on the planet. There would also be the helpful byproduct of putting a huge dent in global warming, but that would really just be a welcomed side effect of feeding millions of starving people.

but until we're willing to do this, i say we kill as many animals as we need to to make us happy.

I'm fine with turning all of the land used for livestock into farmland for plant foods, as long as we have plenty of fish to eat. I want my omega 3's, mainly from krill but regular fish will do.

well, fish are self-sufficient, and we could of course keep fishing them, but if meat became illegal then something tells me that the price of fish would skyrocket, and fishing regulations would be much more greatly enforced.

and hunting licenses would probably become a bitch to get.
