Hey, Nerdfighteria. I'm interested in learning C++ programming, but I have no clue where to start. If anybody could point me in the right direction, I'd be grateful.

I took a class in basic C++ in September. It's actually really simple, I did great considering I never tried programming before.

We used Eclipse Indigo as an editor (not sure if there are better ones out there) and I found it really useful. The professor would always either take things from the textbook or this website:

I know you are not taking a course like I was, but just a little note, those who didn't mess around with the sample codes in the editor did a lot worse on the final than those who did. My biggest piece of advice would be to mess around with what you learn and see how the compiler reacts. It makes it easier to remember what everything does and how it all fits together.
