Thats really who I think would be great for those parts.

Michael Cera and Ellen Page probably can't be in another movie together playing romantic interests. They're set as Pauly and Juno.

NOT Jesse Eisenberg!  I am getting very sick of him *no offense, Jesse...if you're reading this*.

I don't remember who said this first, but Kat Dennings would make a good Alaska.  She is very attractive, but also has a weird air of self-destruction about her. 

But, yeah.  Ellen Page would also make a wonderful Alaska Young.  She is a fantastic actress.

Kat Dennings is a good choice, I think. But no Michael Cera on that one either because of Nick and Nora's. I agree about Jesse Eisenberg. I feel like most of these actors have passed their high school movie phase though.

I was on tumblr, and someone mentioned Chloe Moretz (Kick-ass, Hugo, Let Me In) for playing Alaska. NONONONO! She's an awesome actress, but not someone I can see playing Alaska. I've been thinking, and maybe Emma Stone (If she would dye her hair), or even Hailee Steinfeld.

I think Emily Browning would make a great Lara (or Alaska).

I think Michael Cera would still be a good Pudge. But Logan Lermon (Lightning Thief) could play Pudge too.

As for the Colonel or Takumi: I have no idea who should play them yet.

Hailee Steinfeld is way to young (15 years old).

I don't like it when adults are cast to play teenagers, but I just didn't imagine the characters in the book to be that old.  I was thinking more around 17-18
