Nerdfighters

Ok, so this is driving me crazy, and I want to see what all you other Nerdfighters out there think.  Say I skip breakfast, then eat a meal at lunchtime.  Does that meal qualify as breakfast or lunch?  If it's breakfast, would the meal the next morning be dinner from the day before?  Annnddd... discuss.

I believe the meal counts during what time of the day it is...not whether you skipped a meal or not

This is my summer schedule. So I agree with this.
Agreed, the meal name is due to what time of the day you eat it, not in which order it was consumed.
I think it'd depend on what you eat. When I'm off at college, and I sleep late, sometimes I'll eat cereal for my first meal and that's breakfast. But if I eat a sandwich or a hot dog, then it's lunch.
seeing that very few people actually stick to the eat three meals a day thing, the countless snacks in between would render the whole perspective of a definite breakfast\lunch\dinner preposterous, so i don't think it would matter that much... i think the best way to discern which was which would be by what time you ate...
I don't think it's the time you eat it. I think it what you eat.
Depending on when you ate your first meal, it counts as either lunch, or brunch. But if you have a third meal at three in the morning or something, you are officially nocturnal and your first meal counts as breakfast.
It's lunch.
I suppose, quantity would also come into play. Only to discern it from a meal or snack though
What about the nature of the word itself though? Breakfast literally means the meal in which you are breaking the fast that you've been in while you've been sleeping...
It depends on why you skipped breakfast. If you were awake for what is a normal "breakfast time" and you just didn't eat, then your next meal is lunch, but if you were asleep while said breakfast time was going on and happen to wake up around lunch, then you would have breakfast during "lunch time".
No the meal from the next morning is never dinner form the day before, every day you start again.
