My attempt to decrease worldsuck this year

This Christmas I plan on taking all the money I'd spend on people, and the money they would spend on me and donating it to a charity.
So far I'm thinking World Vision, since I can give music, toys, food, clothing and education all at once.

That's what I plan on doing to decrease worldsuck. Most of it is going to fight malaria in the Sudan, because the President’s Malaria Initiative multiplies the gift apparently O.o
ex '$100 gift will help provide $2,000 of supplies"

That's a great idea.
But something else you could do, to still make it a gift, is to ask the people you would be spending money on which charity they would like you to give the money to. then all of the money they would spend on you, use for the charity of your choice.
