My friend got a book full of riddles!
And this one was on the front cover:
'A man and his wife live on the 12th floor of a 20-floor building. The man gets in the elevator one morning on his way to work, and presses the button for the ground floor. The elevator descends three floors, and then the elevator stops.
The man immediately thinks "Oh my gosh, my wife is dying." Why?'

The life support one. The power went out in the building, therefore his wife's life support would have stopped and she would have started dying

A woman is walking down the street, when she sees a man she's never met before. They've never had any form of contact with each other and are only now aware of each other's existence. There are no words spoken between them at all. The woman gives the man a kiss. Why?

Answer A- They are the only two survivors of an apocalypse of some kind.
Answer B- The man is a soldier in an army liberating the woman's town.
Are we allowed to ask questions by the way? Like, are they both human, for example.

The man is the long-lost twin brother of the woman's widower?
I'm sure that's not right (it sounds like something from a soap opera), but it's the only thing I could think of.
