My Garden Gets No Light

Hello Nerdfighters! It's been a while, but I have a question I feel you guys would be able to answer better than any of my other online communities.

So, I recently moved into a new house and, finally, I have a garden! The only problem is that it's flanked on all sides by trees, which means it gets like three hours of sunlight, and only in a small corner. I can't cut down or trim any of the trees (because they belong to the neighbours) so I was wondering if there were any ways to either increase the light without touching the trees or any plants I could grow that don't have such a demand for light.
