And I think this one was better because, frankly, Biden is a better debater. Note how the questions were extremely similar to the ones from the McCain/Obama debate, and Biden was much, much more specific than Obama was. If Obama wants to win on Tuesday, he needs to take a leaf out of Biden's tree and say some actual numbers and facts more often than just make those broad, overarching statements he's always done.

That was the difference between Biden and Palin, too- she had a substantially smaller number of examples and facts, and had to fall back on ones that weren't as relevant less often than Biden. It was obvious that there were some specific things she had been told to remember to bring up and try to harp on, and I found it rather laughable and could see right through it. There were a lot of things she couldn't respond to.

BUT, again, she pulled the cute thing they made fun of in that SNL skit over and over again- I counted five winks. "Say it ain't so, Joe!" Etc. Totally pathetic. But that kind of shit wins over the ignorant masses, so she probably scored big points for McCaine's campaign.; ▶ Reply to This
