We have made it N00bcake of the Week due to time constraints. You are free to nominate people at any time, and they can receive our weekly award. Should we set an official day when the winners and runners up are announced (seeing as we see more than one n00bcake nominee each week)?

Ok, so we just give the name and then what? You and QT research them or something? All of these changes are starting to confuse me now. I feel like it got sort of usurped.

Why should only Karl and myself get the power? You put them down and explain why you think they're a n00bcake, as you would have in the old thread. And even I'm confused.

Maybe the daily system would work better, as it would result in much less confusion?

Edit: I think this could work quite well as an irregular post. We don't have enough time to guarantee one n00bcake is pwned each day, but we also shouldn't limit ourselves to one a week. Set a weekly pwnage requirement of one, with us still being able to pwn more than one n00bcake per week.

I guess I'm just thinking that logistically this is going to be a nightmare. I mean, what if three or four people get "nominated" in a week? Then what? Who decides?

What if we had someone volunteer to be in charge of each week and just let them do it on Friday, and each person keeps their ideas to themselves until it's their turn?

Example: CTH has a great idea on a Wednesday, in the middle of a week that QT is in charge of, so she says, "Hey, I want to do next week's." QT tells everyone about his n00bcake two days later, and a week after that, CTH gives us the lowdown on her pick.

Gabrielle's plan seems like the most reasonable idea. In fact, I can't currently conceive of any other plan besides a convoluted free for all that would be almost doomed to failure.

Well, everyone should have equal say in who is appointed n00bcake. If it is desired, I could be the head writer of scathing emails, but I don't wish to be the arbiter of who wins the award.

I think nominating them in this thread would probably work well. But the profile would also be fine. Just so long as you nominate them.

Exactly. Although seeing as I created the email address and thread, I would like to have the power to edit their emails for grammar, spelling, and style, as I did with Karl's.
