Nerdfighters

I attempted and failed at NaNoWriMo this year; November was a really crazy month for me. I still want to try to complete the 50,000 words though, so I'm going to do it beginning January 1. Do any of you awesome nerdfighters want to join me in this venture?I think it would be good to have the support system that NaNoWriMo provides, even if it's not during the official month. Anybody who wants to edit the novel they wrote in November during the actual NaNoWriMo is welcome too!

...Possibly. I'm not sure that I'll have the time in January. But I'm interested, since I didn't win NaNo either.

AJ, I like the idea of a two month NaNo; more people would be able to join in then? And it's much less daunting than just one month, so if January is really busy for people (like Contradiction), there's always February too!

NaNoWriMos. I'm down. I don't know how much I will get done, seeing as how I wrote 500 words in November...haha. I feel like mine is going to turn into NaNoWriYear. :p

I'm right with you guys, I wrote about 275 words in November. Unfortunately I think I'm going to trash those and start over, but it'll be good- new year, new start!

...and maybe I'll finish by the end of next November.

I was gonna go it this month (NaNoWriMo in December!!) but then I realized, oh, it's Christmas. I can't write on Christmas!!! So this is a brilliant idea :D Especially the 2 month NaNoWriMo!!! But for me personally, I can't concentrate on something unless I have a lot of pressure, so I think for me I might just pretend like I have to be done by January 30th (or 28th, is it a leap year?) and then if I don't succeed I'll finish it by Febuary 30th. Or 31st, whatever :)

I got to almost 25 000 words, but I lost the USB it was on mid-November. I wanted to kill myself DX

January is always 31 days. February changes between 28 and 29 days ;)

Oh. I feel stupid. -feels stupid- XD
I lost it in the snow. I looked for like ever but I couldn't find it DX
Oh my goodness, I can't imagine losing your USB that far into it; that's awful :/ But yes, feel free to join us for January, and if you need extra time to continue, we'll still be here in February! :)

Speaking of which, do we want to continue discussing everything on this thread/should we start a new one in January/do we want to just post comments to each other's pages? Basically, what do you all think is the best way to communicate during our makeshift NaNoWriMo?

This thread, or a new one. Threads > comments. I'll participate, btw. If it's a two month thing, I know I'll be able to.

Messages can have multiple recipients, but that might get annoying as a constant means of communication between a bunch of people.

I've always thought it would be much more convenient to have it in July or August when a lot more people don't have school/work.
