I've won NaNoWriMo the past two years, after three years of trying unsuccessfully. I really want to win this year and make bring my victory rate up to 50%, but I am MLing my region this year and good heavens... the time consumingness is overwhelming! Is it possible that NaNoWriMo itself will keep me from winning NaNoWriMo???
I also hosted (or tried to host) an extremely unsuccessful write in last night. I was there for an hour an nobody showed. Majorly disheartening. I have another one on the calendar today and after last night I don't really want to go, but I guess I have to.
Point being, this weekend, and this month, are seriously kicking my butt, and I woke up really needing the support of my fellow nerdfighters. Because you are so made of awesome! Are you doing NaNoWriMo too? How is it treating you?

I'm doing NaNo too! :D I'm actually doing surprisingly well. I didn't decide to do NaNo until the day before it started so my story's been surprisingly nice to me and I haven't gotten stuck in any major ruts yet. My main concern is that I need to be 2 (ideally 3....) days ahead of schedule by this weekend because I'll be unable to write much at all from Friday to Sunday. :/ and I definitely won't be able to type up anything I write.
Good luck with your story! :) We can do this!!
