I run into this on the Interwebz: http://amsterdam.nerdnite.com/ and I wondered - is anyone who would like to join me? I have no experience with nerdnites thus far, but I am so curious!

What is it?

From what I've read, there will be a presentation about swordfighting in movies, including a live swordfighting demonstation. There will also be something about puzzles, maths and art, given by a man who is mad about Japanese food. Doesn't that sound like the best evening a nerd can have (apart from the usual appointment with your bookshelf)?

It is expensive?

They only need love and nerdiness, but no money.

Ik vrees dat ik niet kan, ik heb van 9 tot 5 college, en ik ben bang dat ik daarna nogal helemaal kapot ben, en alleen nog maar naar m'n bedje toe wil.. Acht uur op een gammel krukje naar aardewerk staren is niet goed voor de rug, I can tell you. :p
