Nerdfighter in need over here!

I know we're all really busy decreasing Worldsuck at the moment, but if you can take a second to read this, I'd really appreciate it.

For about 8 years now i've been going to this Saturday drama club thing, and it's something I really enjoy doing. Sadly, this month we were notified that the Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Service (the guys who run it) were getting 100% of their budget cut by the County Council. As you will have seen, that's all of it.

Nobody wants this to happen, since it would probably mean shutting the thing down. Someone has started a petition to the County Council, but sadly not nearly enough people are signing it. I found myself wondering "What community is big enough and awesome enough to be able to help us out?". Three guesses.

If you'd like to sign the petition, it can be found here. It literally takes seconds and I would really appreciate it, and I'm sure everyone in the Service would too. Plus, it can be your little bit of world suck decreased for they day.

I am involved in many groups that are solely private in funding, it can be done. It isn't someone else's responsibility to pay for this drama club.; ▶ Reply to This
