Nerdfighters

Wouldn't it be cool if all of nerdfighteria banded together and created something? Right now nerdfighters are coming together to write and publish a book, and we want you to get involved. If you can write, write something, if you can draw, draw something, and if you are awesome, come raise our awesome levels. The theme for the book has been decided by vote and it is to have no specific theme. The guidelines for submissions have been posted and you are now able to go off and create something brilliant. This is a nerdfighter project so every major decision will be decided by vote. If you like this idea please join the group (link below), we would love to hear your ideas for this project.

I want to hear what you think
I would like to create a fan-fiction sequel to Looking For Alaska because after reading it I realised I had a cool idea for taking the story in an interesting direction. I have some ideas for the story but I'd love to write it WITH some other clued-up nerdfighters because everyone knows that the more the merrier! Please contact me at zdecent@gmail.com if you wanna help me write it and/or hear my plot idea.

NERDFIGHTERS!
I'm sorry, but I feel like that would be a terrible idea.
Alaska is the main character, even though she's not the narrator, and I feel we all know what happened to her.
What POSSIBLE plot could there be if there is no Alaska?
Do you just want to follow Pudge on the most likely terribly mundain days at Culver Creek without the glue that made the story...a story?
No. I'm sorry, but no.
Well, if the book is going to sell for charity, then it can't be about inside jokes or anything, because the public has to understand it
Sounds like a good idea, but can you be more specific about what to draw or write?
It is really an opportunity for nerdfighters to display their works, so we haven't put too many restrictions on it. More info on what can be submitted is in the submission guidelines discussion within the group.
hmm i wonder if theer should be a section specific to lady nerdfighters...
Should each of us just document something that made us feel SOMETHING whether it be happy, sad, angry or aghast and put it all in a book? That way, written articles and artistic pieces can be accepted and we can each have a record of what happened to the Nerdfighter community in a certain time period. It would be almost like a time capsule because each of us would contribute something that had meaning to us that we could look back on.
we want this to be more about the creative ability of the nerdfighter community and being able to showcase that to the world, which means we will probably only have a few stories that relate directly to nerdfighteria. Having said all that we are hoping to have a section at the back of the book where people can anonymously send in letters about what nerdfighters means to them and thanking those people that have affected their lives.
we should write the history of nerd-dom (made up)
fantasy/science fictionish?
the anatomy of a nerdfighter... just concentrated awesomeness :D
agreed
