New Nerdfighters - Introduce yourself here!

Are you completely new to Nerdfighting? Have you been watching the Vlogbrothers' videos since 1864 but have you only just decided to come meet other Nerdfighters? Were you active in my pants and have you only now decided to come over to the ning side? (god I hope you're not so new to Nerdfighting that you don't get the pants reference.... that would make me seem really weird!)

This thread is here so that you can come out and say hi, and we can say hi back! You can ask us questions about nerdfighting and awesome! You could also tell us some things that would tell us some things about you, such as

- how you feel about the colour puce;
- whether, when walking down a dark alley at night, you would rather encounter a ninja or a bowl of petunias, and why;
- what you think would happen if cows discovered quantum mechanics

...or anything else you feel like sharing!

While you're at it, why don't you go place yourself on the Nerdfightaria googlemap!

Thank you for making this! I've been here for about two weeks and I already feel fully immersed int he community. My friend asano_man has been a nerdfighter for a while and in a recent surge of boredom I decided to sign up. If only I knew what I was missing. I'm an intellectual computer programming anime fanatic nerdfighter in case anyone was wondering and I would love to talk with other similar nerdfighters (particularly computer programming ones), but from my experiences thus far, they aren't all that common. Oh well, everyone is made of awesome here and I would love to talk to any other nerdfighter :D Just hit me up on my profile if you want to talk. I usually don't initiate conversations because I don't like to force myself on people. I know, it's silly to think I would be a bother around here, but it's pretty much an all-encompassing psychological thing x_x

hey! I am new to nerdfighters. I saw the vlogbrothers in fall,08. I've only been here for two days.

-I don't mind the color puce, but I think that puce is a gross word.
-I would like to encounter the Ninja of course! and show of my mad ninja skills...which I have yet to acquire.
-if cows discovered quantum mechanics...it would be intense...that's about it.lol

:-) I don't much like the colour either, but I agree with you about the word! I don't like the word "mauve" either, though I find the colour less unpleasant than puce :-)
