I have been a nerdfighter. Just not here. I was a lover of John Greens books before I knew what nerdfighters were. One day I say my friend Max reading Paper Towns in class and I freaked out and told him that it was the best! And he was like "Oh you're a nerdfighter?" and I was confused. Thus he converted me to the ways of you tube through explanation of Nerdfighteria and Jullian Smith and now I'm an adict. 

Question: how do I change my profile picture? I am stumped

I really don't know what to say here.
So, My name's Jenny. I live near Birmingham, England where I rarely leave the house because that's where all my books and video games are. I'm extremely awkward around new people, which is probably causing my sudden lack of knowlage about...myself.

I discovered Vlogbrothers in September this (soon to be last) year after googling 'nerdy jokes' and have since watched a ridiculous amount of videons and read 2 of John's books.

Paper Towns and Looking for Alazka. They're not the sort of books I'd normally read (The sort of books I normally read being along the lines of wizards who are private detectves fighing ghosts of demons with extra added explosions) but I really enjoyed them.

Obligatory Doctor Who jokes are cool.

If I could go anywhere, I wouldn't got to England. Also, could you give me a tip? I have this pocketwatch and I....oh well. It doesn't matter.

What do you know? I finally found the intro thread.

Hello everyone, my name is Artemis. Technically it's my nick-name, although it is what everyone has call me since sixth grade. I actually joined the community a couple of weeks ago, but with the holidays approaching and exams ending, I didn't have time to post anything.

What can I say? I'm obsessed with religions, myths, legends, and folklore. My parents own a bookstore, so I read books the way most people devour candy. I am a goth (Yes, of course I sacked Rom and plundered France!), although my musical taste is all over the map. My favourite book is The Basic Eight by Daniel Handler, and my favourite TV show is still Kim Possible.

I haven't been watching John and Hank for very long. In fact, my friend only introduced me to them last summer, but the awesome was so strong that I spent the next week watching every video they had ever made. My parents though I had gone mad.

Danno: Hurruh for Alice in Wonderland jokes! In all seriousness though, I really am what people would call "mad" I have enough mental disorders for twelve people: Tourettes Syndrome, OCD, Summer SAD, Depression, Insomnia, Chronic Nightmares, Migraines, and a mood swing disorder that my doctors have not identified, but have said is "similar to schizophrenia". Oh, joy.

On the plus side, though, I also have synaesthesia, so despite being crazy, I can see music.
