Hello Nerdfighters. I am Emmanuel and I am from the west coast.

I found out about Nerdfighteria not too long ago through Hank and John's videos. It started with their Crash Course channel, then Hank's Sci Show. Eventually I found Vlogbrothers and that is how I came here.

I would consider myself a nerd because I absolutely love science and discovering how the world around me works, and how I can make it better. I would like to become an engineer so I can make things that increase awesome and decrease world suck. Thank you and I am proud to be a nerdfighter :)

Hello, hello, hello! The name's Kira, I also go by Clover, Gally, and Freya (don't ask, really) and I'm…here. I like Vlogbrothers and SuperWhoLock and My Little Pony and too many books to list and Homestuck and attempting to make art. "Attempting" being the key word here. I've been told I sound like Captain Martin Crieff, which is pretty much the single best compliment I've ever received ever. I'm overly intellectual, in the sense that I read Oscar Wilde when the rest of my class is reading Steven King and I do research reports on Jungian psychology when the rest of my class is doing theirs on puppy mills and various sports figures. 

I'm very, very nerdy.

Yeah, Gally being short for Gallifrey! My username on NaNoWriMo is GallifreyGirl, so it got shortened to Gally. The "Freya" is completely unrelated.

And yeah, actually, I am reading some good books! I'm rereading The Golden Compass (very…slowly…) and also a book I got for Christmas, The Order of Odd-Fish. And since someone is going to ask, there is no way to explain what it's about. It's that kind of book. XD

Hi, fellow nerdfighters!

I signed up for the forums a while ago...but for some reason I never posted. Or at least I don't think I did. If I did...oops.

My most common way to introduce myself is to say "I love EVERYTHING" (which is the tagline of my tumblr About Me, even though I don't use tumblr anymore). I adore reading, both fiction and nonfiction (currently reading a fiction book, just finished a nonfiction one. Joys of a college library!), and I enjoy writing as well. I used to write fanfiction quite a bit, but college has made me super-über-busy.

I'm a freshman majoring in Middle East Studies and Linguistics, probably adding a minor/third major in Religion (not to bang people over the head with it, but to understand how it's been used historically and culturally to bang other people over the head, so that I can attempt to bring peace between people).
