Okay.  Hi.  I'm MacKenzie.

Erk.  I'm awful at being new, and worse at introducing myself.  I found...this world by clicking on a tumblr link, though I've seen a few gifs of John and Hank and gone "WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE I MUST WATCH THE VIDEOS!"

Er...

So that happened about two days ago.  And I felt like I belonged.  Ah...I was always a nerd, I guess.  Never very popular.  And it has been like that until today.  I do theatre.  I work with props.  I move to West Virginia for a summer job later today (the 11th).  So if there's any Nerdfighters in the Beckley area, that would be neat.

Well, I'm just gonna...go hide.  or something.

Hi!

I'm Charley, a 20 year old student of English w/ Creative Writing at the University of Greenwich, Greater London.

Whilst having been a fan since last August when I discovered the treasure trove that is the vlogbrothers channel, this is  my first foray into being a nerdfighter, so hopefully it will get off to a good start.

I'm a book junkie with ambitions to be a writer. I absorb poetry like some people absorb coffee in the morning, I love music and film with a passion and comic books (DC in particular) are my lifeblood.

I feel like I could fit in around here, so yeah, pleasure to meet you all :)

Hi there!

My name is Chantale, and I'm a nerdfighter from Halifax, Nova Scotia! I've been following John and Hank and all their adventures since I read Looking for Alaska in 2009. It was a combination of reading this book and also seeing a Brotherhood 2.0 mention on Sarah Dessen's blog that lead me to start watching the videos. I was then hooked!

I've now read all of John's novels, and have seen all Vlogbros videos up to date - although, I am a bit backlogged by a month or two because of school right now.

I'm currently in London, Ontario where I'm doing my MLIS - Master's of Library and Information Science at University of Western Ontario. I can't wait to become a librarian!

welcome Chantale!  so, did you discover John's books through your library studies?

I actually started library school a few years after discovering John's books. I've always been a YA lover, and I picked up Looking for Alaska randomly on one of my frequent trips to the book store, because I thought the blurb on the back looked interesting ...Since I've started my masters though, I've met a few other Nerdfighters, including a couple professors, which is awesome! Actually, I'm doing my Masters research project on Nerdfighteria!  I may be looking for participation from some of you sometime soon if you're interested! :)

sounds awesome!  not really sure what angle you're looking at it from, but i think several Nerdfighters have aked for assistance on similar sorts of projects.
