thank you! i like it a lot so far. it's a lot to take in and there's a lot to catch up on, but it's fun. :)

welcome to the ning Bri!  i too find capitalization (excluding names, obviously) tedious, along with a few other similarities.  bigger question though is how do you feel about articles?  :D

thank you! and i am glad you agree :) my feelings on articles? i think they are quite useful, of course!

ah, now here i'm afraid we may have to agree to disagree.  certainly they have a level of usefulness, but i honestly think we could do without, given that pronouns are far more specific.

Hi, I'm Mariah. (: I'm not sure what to say so I'll live it with a hello (:

Hello there Mariah, and welcome to the Ning!

Say, how did you discover the wonderful world of Nerdfighteria? :)

Liking the site so far?

Why thank you!

I've always sort of been apart of Nerdfighteria...but I was never apart of the Ning! That one fateful day when I read Looking for Alaska opened up the world of John and Hank Green. Ever since then, I've been a Nerdfighter! (:

I do, actually! Everyone is nice, and that's wonderful! (:

That's very good to know :)

Hope you enjoy more of your time in the Ning :D

welcome Mariah!

what sort of Nerdfighter are you?

Not exactly new to Nerdfighteria, but I'm
newly in need of some positive interactions with
my peers. Everyone in my school sees me as a
nerd and treats me like its a bad thing. I
believe John Green when he says things will get
after high school, but it still sucks now and it
still hurts now. There must be someone else on the website
understands.

I survived thru high school (worst part of anyone's life), and still surviving thru college, so I know how you feel.

But I have to wonder if it's really everyone in your school who treats you like that.

Are there not like-minded peers there?

while i suppose looking back the people who were absolutley horrible to me growing up were that way becasue i've always been a nerd, so i can relate on that front, by highschool i'd managed to embrace my nerd and i had the good fortune to find fellow nerds.
