Hello Nerdfighters.

My name is Sarah but an awful lot of people call me Mufasa, a nickname that stems from a few different things, but mostly from my mess of curly hair. Contrary to popular belief, none of my siblings have ever tried to kill me. I'm 21,from Ireland (my accent is amazing, yes ;) ) and I am currently in Austria, finishing up my Study Abroad year.

I am a nerd in an awful lot of ways but not in a Star Wars/ Dr. Who kind of way. In fact, I was always terrible at Science and Maths! Like ridiculously bad. I love to read and as a child, I was awfully introverted and a bit of a geek. I preferred reading my Roald Dahl books over much else. I was good at school, particularly at English and History and those kind of subjects.

I study Languages now at University, though I'm about to take a year out to concentrate on upping my skills in that department. I've become quite an extrovert but it saddens me that I don't have much time to just be a geek nowadays. My real passion is teaching, particularly teaching English as a foreign language to kids. Love it. Hoping to get a vlog up and running during my year off too, as a way to document my progress through a certain number of things I want to achieve in that year. Here's hoping! I am a huge music nerd as well. I like to think I know my stuff. Going to gigs is one of my favourite things to do. I see the world through rose-tinted glasses and am a hopeless optimist.

I came to be here, thanks to my brothers. I wasn't ever really into Youtube but my brothers were and in the last year or so, I started to check out all these links they were sending me and liked what I was finding, and all this great content. I've also been searching for a forum that constantly generates content and doesn't just depend on the conversations of its members.

Hello! I've been absent from the ning and nerdfighteria for a while (due to school and...forgetfullness...) but since I read The Fault in Our Stars a few weeks ago I've decided to enter back into the digital world of nerdfighteria! Though, I am kind of confused by this site, and it has been a while since I've been on a forum so I may be a bit rusty.

I guess I should say something about myself...I'm an International Relations major and will be entering my fourth year of college in the fall. But all I can really think about now was the season finale of The Legend of Korra! Eeek!

Anyway, it's good to be back! :)
