Hi, I'm Tia

I am 23 years old. I'm from the California Central Coast and am currently a student at CSU Monterey Bay, majoring in Teledramatic Arts and Technology ( a really fancy word for film).

I got into being a nerdfighter by watching the odd vlogbrothers video here and there. For my last birthday I had my mom get me a copy of The Fault in Our Stars. I read the book that night and the next day I got myself copies of Looking for Alaska and An Abundance of Katherines. I also just recently got my hands on and read Paper Towns.

I love John's books, the vlogs, Scishow and Crashcourse. I am a huge nerd, obsessed with everything from Doctor Who to Harry Potter to Firefly to Star Trek and Star Wars. I read everything I can get my hands on and hope to be an author myself one day.

I am really excited to be a part of the nerdfighter community and can't wait to start spreading the awesome!

Hey, I'm Savannah. You can't derive any great nicknames from the name "Savannah," but my friends generally call me Sevvie, which is a long story.

My dad's a longtime Nerdfighter, and he's been telling me about vlogbrothers for a while, but I didn't actually watch any vlogbrothers videos until recently. Needless to say, it made an impression. I've also heard my friend Bernice mention the word "Nerdfighter" more than once, but I only now know what it means.

I'm a nerd because I embody every insipid writer stereotype known to man, and my favorite part of my day at Pike Place Market today was visiting the collectibles shop and cooing over a variety of dorky scifi paraphernalia.
