can understand that second part Elle...if it's any consolation it's no more natural for about half of all the people you meet...even if they aren't (or at least don't seem) as scared.  

as to the ten minute thing, that's really impressive...even if it means you checked things out before creating your account.

I'm fairly new to Nerdfighteria. I started (consecutively) watching vlogbrothers on YouTube a couple of months ago and didn't want to miss out on such a great community. So... here I am!

Generally speaking, it's coming along pretty slowly. I had joined the Nerdfighteria election campaign, with my "Nerdfighters for Obama" shirt and all. It's safe to say that I had marked myself as one with the community there and then (even if I was the only one who knew what Nerdfighters were in my area).

As far as this website goes, I'm getting the hang of the basics!

'30 jokes for nerds' was in my recommended videos earlier this year and I watched it and started watching more videos and really liked them and the whole Nerdfighter community and that's my story :D and now I finally signed up here :)
