Hi,

I'm a new nerdfighter. I also heard about vlogborothers from a gif set on tumblr. I've become completely enamored of Hank and John, and fairly impressed by the whole nerdfighter community, although also intimidated because I've never been on a forum this big before.

I am a nerd for a lot of reasons. Mostly that I am smart and more than a little bit odd.

Also, I blog 5 days a week, and last week I took Hank's survey from 2007 and posted it on my blog in 2 parts. Here they are if you would like to read them.

I've been a big fan of the Vlogbros videos for a few years but have never really gotten into the community but have decided to join up now and see what's up.

My biggest nerdy aspect is probably my unhealthy obsession with Harry Potter but I don't think I will be alone with that obsession here.

Hi, I just joined NerdFighters and thought it was really cool. I only just found out about vlogbrothers, though, but thought that it would be nice to join the community. Note that Devery may be slightly primarily a female name by a little bit, but I am male, not female (No controversial views intended).

I enjoy Physics, and I tend to think about it during most of my free time. I feel that if more people were aware of how everything in our world actually happens, people would be more in awe, making the world a better place, possibly unifying the world because if everyone is in awe, unification can happen. And, along with that, people will most likely be smarter. Also, knowing a bit of friction Physics can help on the road in tough conditions.

Though, I am all for other sciences and history/Philosophy as well.

Though, to get more in depth with the kind of Physics I like, i tend to think a lot about Einstein's Theory of Special relativity and General relativity, and then there is the Quantum Physics which involves string theory for me, mostly.

As I said, I only just heard about vlog brothers, but that was an introduction that took time form looking at your other channels and other people's channels as well. This includes the science and society channels such as Vsauce, and that led to many others, and as you know, In each channel, there are channel suggestions. I saw one that said crash course, and then I clicked on it. I saw that this was the channel that my History Teacher showed us in class once. Then, I saw the Biology Section in there, which led me to Scishow for a while (When I say a while, it was yesterday, but it was for like 4-5 hours of that day, and I get led to so many different interesting YouTube Channels, that it felt like a while), and then, that eventully led me to vlogbrothers. So, I have only known Vlogbrothers for a day, but I have known you guys for a bit longer than that :D

I hope I will have the time to stay in this forum and increase the appreciation for awesome as well :D
