thank you, when you put it that way i feel very special. like i'm defying the law of capitals or something like that.
and i started hearing about john's books on tumblr, so i read looking for alaska and loved it, then read paper towns and an abundance of katherines. the funny thing is that i had heard about the vlogbrothers before, but i never made the connection between john green the author and john green the vlogger until earlier this year. i just finished watching all of the brotherhood 2.0 videos and i feel very accomplished c:
you should. it is a heck of a project
if it does, it makes me at least as big of one.
yes! high five for not using capitals!
*virtual high five*
so why don't you like them?
Hey there Dewis, and welcome to the Ning! :D
So, how were you introduced to Nerdfighteria? :)
As always, DFTBA!
are we talking the anime, the Christopher Lambert movie(s) or the show?
I'm an ESL teacher at the university level, and I was introduced to vlogbrothers (and by extension to nerdfighteria) by my cousin a few years ago and have been an avid watcher. I also love crashcourse and scishow. However, there are few things I enjoy more than reading, writing (mostly short poetry like tanka) and drawing. My interests and inspiration come, for the most part, from the natural world.
What makes me a nerd? Well, what is a nerd anyway? Beyond the common connotations of nerd that we all think of (which I probably fit) perhaps I am a nerd because I feel affinity with other self defined nerds. :)
Hey there, and welcome to the Ning! :D
First off, how shall we call you? :)
I'm trying to decide that :)
Well then, let us know when you have decided :)
