No, no it does not. You just simply chose not to be confined within language conventions :p
So, how did you discover Nerdfighteria? :)
Anyways, DFTBA!
Permalink Reply by Amanda on August 21, 2012 at 9:16am thank you, when you put it that way i feel very special. like i'm defying the law of capitals or something like that.
and i started hearing about john's books on tumblr, so i read looking for alaska and loved it, then read paper towns and an abundance of katherines. the funny thing is that i had heard about the vlogbrothers before, but i never made the connection between john green the author and john green the vlogger until earlier this year. i just finished watching all of the brotherhood 2.0 videos and i feel very accomplished c:
DFTBA!

Permalink Reply by RandomLanguage on August 21, 2012 at 6:42pm Hi all,
I'm an ESL teacher at the university level, and I was introduced to vlogbrothers (and by extension to nerdfighteria) by my cousin a few years ago and have been an avid watcher. I also love crashcourse and scishow. However, there are few things I enjoy more than reading, writing (mostly short poetry like tanka) and drawing. My interests and inspiration come, for the most part, from the natural world.
What makes me a nerd? Well, what is a nerd anyway? Beyond the common connotations of nerd that we all think of (which I probably fit) perhaps I am a nerd because I feel affinity with other self defined nerds. :)

Also, DFTBA!
