I'm a huge fan of John Green, and today I went and bought The Fault In Our Stars. When I opened to the first page I found a little white piece of paper. I got super excited, because I just finished Dash & Lilys Book of Dares, and I thought I wa going to be starting a similar adventure to Dash's. So here I am, trying to figure this all out hoping that this is what my book nerd self needs!!

I love music. My favorite band is The Maine. I absolutely love reading. And that's me :)

I've been on Nerdfighters.com for like two weeks and I've only just now discovered the forum. Ha!

Anyway, I am a somewhat older Nerdfighter, falling between John and Hank in age, according to Wikipedia. I discovered Nerdfighteria in kind of a roundabout way. I read a lot of YA because I write YA primarily, and so I had a passing familiarity with John's name. Then a few weeks ago, I was frantically looking for quotes from books. I do this freak-out every year because I have an annual bookmark-making task, and I put quotes from books on the bookmarks.

So I was browsing through a lot of crappy quotes on Goodreads, when I started coming across some rather brilliant quotes. They were from John Green books. Imagine that. So like everyone these days when confronted with something new, I Googled it, and here I am.

I'm new to the website but not to the cause or the project! Been watching the vlogbrothers for about two years now. I'm a gamer, a "graphic designer" (I put that in air quotes because I wouldn't call myself one but dapple in typography) and occasionally, a YouTuber.
