Nerdfighters

So I'm curious to know if any Nerdfighters are old souls like me. I've always had a passion for old films and I mean 1940's/1950's earlier not 80's. Films that were called motion pictures when they came out, where breaking into song is common place while still remaining magical ?
And Any old music , such as billie holiday , Armstrong, Cole , Fitzgerald etc ...
Hoping I'm not the only one fascinated with the past.

Well I do love old music from any era really but the reason I picked 40's to 50's is because it was sort of Jazz/ballet type dancing which I love and can do ( a little) . But I also have a weak spot for the Twist. I used to do it as a kid all the time to any music, apparently it was irritating. My parents have a range of music that really defined what I like.
Btw I haven't heard the song you linked in a while , I really liked it. Though I can't remember where I know it from.
I love old jazz especially. They kept trying to get me to play Bop in college and I kept coming back with Dixieland. Old Louis Armstrong and Preservation Hall Jazz Band CDs line my collection.
