Pottermore Sorting Hat

I registered early for Pottermore and heard that JK Rowling had made a Sorting Hat quiz for it, and you're stuck with the house you're sorted into.  Is anyone else nervous that they won't get the house they felt they belonged in?  I have tons of Ravenclaw merch and it'd really suck if I got into Gryffindor, Slytherin, or Hufflepuff.  The Sorting Hat considers your choice as well, but I'm still a little nervous. Though, I am quite excited to see what house I'm sorted in.  Especially since JK Rowling made the quiz herself.  Any other opinions?

I haven't sorted myself because I'm too scared. Is that weird?

I've been a Ravenclaw forever, but I honestly think every house has desirable qualities. In most sorting tests, I get sorted into Hufflepuf (which doesn't suprise me in the sligthest). There is also a high probablity that it will be Gryffindor, 'cause although I don't feel connected to that house in anyway, I am a very proud and loud person. I don't think it'll be Slytherin.... Oh I don't know. I have qualities of all the houses. For some reason, I think it'll be Gryffindor or Hufflepuf for me. I really don't know how I'll react. I just feel like a Ravenclaw forever. I never really doubted whether or not my house was right for me... I actually think I might even be a Gryffindor? Who knows...

It won't matter, I promise!  If you like all the houses, you'll be satisfied with whatever you get into.  Ms. Rowling wrote up nice welcome letters for all the houses, and by the look of the Ravenclaw one, they're enough to dry anyone's tears about being sorted wrongly!  But anyway, if you think you're a Ravenclaw, I think you'll be fine.  I was worried, too!

I had the same problem of being scared about doing my sorting. I have always claimed to be a Slytherin. ALWAYS. I'm a Slytherin. I love Slytherin. I'm a Slytherin girl. I really didn't want to get sorted and end up...well, in any other house. There's nothing wrong with the others because, as has been stated many times here, there are good qualities about all of them (even though I like to tease my sister about loving Hufflepuff :P). I'd found a really good sorting quiz online (it really was good. None of that "Choose you're favorite color: Red, Blue, Yellow, Green" nonsense) and, as the quiz went by percentage, was sorted into "Slytherdor." I honestly felt like I'd have a good chance at being put in Gryffindor. Still though I wanted to be in Slytherin, a house I knew I belonged in. 

Well, I finally sucked up and did it. I answered every question truthfully and I got sorted into (drum roll please)................................SLYTHERIN! I was (and still am) very happy! I think it just makes me happiest that, as J.K. made the quiz and I answered honestly, I guess I really am a true Slytherin :)

I've always considered myself a Ravenclaw - until Pottermore. I took the Sorting Quiz and waited. After a few seconds, I found myself staring at a banner - emerald green. I'd been Sorted into Slytherin.

I thought about this for the next two days and realized Slytherin is where I belong. I do tend to think of myself first and watch out for my own skin. When I'm not in trouble, I immediately look to keeping those close to me (family, friends, my "Housemates" so to speak) safe. I'm also very ambitious and will stop at nothing to reach my goals. Sorry, Ravenclaw - I'm with Salazar.

Me too! I have so much Slytherin pride in my room that it's not funny. If I don't get Slytherin I will die. Maybe if I got like, Hufflepuff, then I could live, but anything else...no, no. I should be in Slytherin =( But if J.K. Rowling sees it differently, then...

I spent most of my life blindly associating with Gryffindor. Last year, I started to question that. I was pretty torn between Gryffindor and Slytherin. After getting sorted by Pottermore, I am now a proud Slytherin!

I was really surprised when I joined Pottermore and was sorted into Ravenclaw. I'd never really considered it before, even though when I learned about Ravenclaw house when I was little and just starting to get into Harry Potter, I instantly wanted to be one.

For quite a few years I'd considered myself to be a Hufflepuff, I identified with Hufflepuffs so perfectly. I was obsessed with the idea of being a Hufflepuff and the honey badgers and the color scheme of yellow and black.

But I've had time to adjust and can finally say that without a doubt, the Sorting Hat sorted me right. At first I felt even a little angry, but I've come to realize that it was the right choice. I'm a Ravenclaw through and through.

I got Hufflepuff... I am NOT a Hufflepuff! I'm a Slytherclaw! First Ravenclaw, then Slytherin, then Gryffindor, then Hufflepuff! I mean, nothing against Hufflepuff (dun dun dun dun HONEY BADGER) but it's just not me.
