As an American i was devastated and incredibly angry during the 9/11 attacks, considering i live in New York City. When it first came out the Osama Bin Laden and his group, Al-Qaeda, had been responsible i was all for military action against them. And yes, regrettable i also have been careful around Muslims until recently. I read a book called Inside Al-Qaeda by Rohan Gunaratna and according to the book Osama had been planning attacks ever since the late 20th century. However, a classmate of mine has provided heavy evidence supporting the claim that 9/11 was an inside job and that Osama worked for us.... of course i was skeptical, but my open-mind considered the possibility, and the truth is i can never know for sure. I mean yes the info is out there but the chance of getting my hands on it to have clarity of mind are a million to one. Anyways, the proof my classmate provided pointed at th twin towers and how the demolitions had been rumored to have been planned(people say the explosions are similar to those of demolitions). How former pres. Bush and his family set up the whole thing. The point he strongly pointed out was that war means money. And sadly in this day and age i dont know who to trust. While i never liked Osama and what he stood for, the fact that we dont know everything stops me from fully judging him. I would have preffered they have Osama in custody. Though thats just me, i dont like killing..... even if the person killed alot or was responsible, i never will say killing is the right thing to do. Which then raises the question how much this will affect Al-Qaeda and other supporters and will this eventually lead to the end of all this (War on Terror)?
what are your thoughts?

Permalink Reply by Neira on May 2, 2011 at 5:31am I think that there is a possibility that they started the world war 3. Killing Osama, Obama, Bush or any other guy can only make their followers angrier. I m a Muslim and I dont like any of those guys. Islam is not a violent religion and neither is Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism... Most of the religion promote love, peace and tolerance.
I dont even want to start on all those conspiracy theories because I'm not sure about them.
You shouldn't be more careful around Muslims than around other people. We are normal people just like you and your family. It isn't OK to judge the whole religion group based on few individuals. I'm glad you dont do that anymore.

I think if you want to post a discussion about 9/11 conspiracy theories then your discussion title should reflect that.
