Nerdfighters

I was just interested in the cultural and religious demographic of Nerdfightaria, I'd like to hear what everyone's cultural and spiritual back round is. Of course if you're not comfortable revealing anything, then no pressure :) My parents are both middle eastern but I was born and raised in the US.

I personally an agnostic, and a lot of people assume I don't believe in any god.
For me, I just don't like organized religion, but I very much have faith.
So your a deist or a very unmainstream theist. That doesn't make you agnostic.
I am a very Americanized Mexican with a bit of white and Native American mixed in. But I am also like, 9th generation on my mom's side, which has had the most influence on my own personal blend of culture. I am also a born and raised Roman Catholic.

Religion is a touchy subject, but as long as people realize it is OK to disagree, and just accept that other people have other beliefs, that it's all good. Plus even within a single sect of a religion, there are disagreements on what is "true" or "real", and the meaning of things as simple as a whale eating a guy, much less the important things.
thanks for your input :)
This is a really cool thread.

I am American and agnostic atheist (I don't claim to know, but I don't believe there is any God). I have always wondered what it's like to believe in God or gods, but it would take a miracle for me to find out.
thanks for you input! ^.^
I was raised in a family always bickering about religion.

half of them are Catholic and half of them are Jewish

Funny thing though my mother dearest is Methodist O.o

but hey I have a secret....... pst...... I'm Buddhist now that's religion debates to it's finest!
lol. well, that's quite a variety there.
That's life's path my friend ^.^
I was born and raised Roman Catholic :)
but a several of my family members are Protestant
Thanks for your input :)
I was raised Roman Catholic but didn't become one till second grade. My family is funny in that everyone at one point seemed to be in some sort of religion and now none of them are. And quite literally every generation and each side of my family was a different religion. Clearly none of us have liked our religions very much =P
