Ridiculous School Mascots?

my school is the rough riders
my cousin's school was the escanaba eskimos
i always thought its weird having a race as a mascot
like "go asians!"
and my dream college is the trojans

The elementary school my kids all went to have "Lightning." How is that a mascot. "Lincoln LIghtning?" That's just stupid. It was a raccoon before, and that was a lot better in my book.

I don't know if mine is ridiculous to anyone else, but it is to me. My school is the fighting clan. I don't mind it that much (Although it just reminds me too much of the KKK). But our mascot is a rooster. Not just any rooster. A fists raised, scowling face, spurs on ankles illegal cockfighting rooster. Am I the only one to see the madness?

My Internet friend's School's Mascot is a Marshall. Marshall High School, Marshall School District, Marshall County

mine was a Bear, fairly normal.
