I like to imagine "Rock Bottom" as sort of a well. Circular shaped. Somehow some light down there too, so you can see it before you hit it. Cobble stone, some light moss lining between the rocks. Moist, damp even. Wide enough so you can land in full extension and yet small enough to feel claustrophobic. And do not forget the walls of the well is full of incomplete sentences.

Do you ever get those times, where you see yourself falling? First this, then that, then this other thing, then that other thing, then this becomes worse and then that other thing becomes a molded issue with this other thing and soon enough you cant even breathe. Just falling and waiting for the perfect thing to catch you. Bring you back up. And see the world again? You know, when your friend will randomly IM you a face of a bunny with forward slashes and brackets or your parents will out of the blue come into your room and do something they have never done before. Some thing that seems so ridiculous but catches right at the right time to make you see that there is no question to be answered?

hmm, well im falling right now and I am hoping sooner than later that one special thing comes around my side of town. Hopefully sans incomplete sentences and random french words.

I like rock bottom, we've gotten to know each other very well over the years. I like the way sound echoes when I decide I've had enough and I start screaming, It always makes me feel slightly less alone... like even though I can't see them there are hundreds of other screaming creatures down there with me, just bouncing around the walls.

I know what you mean. Today was suck, but while I was driving home "500 Miles" by The Proclaimers came on the radio. I never heard it before. But I remembered John and Hank talking about comments of them looking like The Proclaimers and one of them singing some of the song in early '07. It was all kinds of strange and wonderful.

So, yeah, something random will come around that will make you smile/laugh/scare everyone else on the road. You just have to hold out for it.

Rock bottom is a wonderful place. It's a place of rebirth and possibilities.

It is not a tragic place. The tragedy is that so few people actually find it.

Well, for some reason this post has broken my heart.
I completely know where you're coming from. And I find that I really have nothing to say that will help, I think.

"If you look for truth, you may find comfort in the end; if you look for comfort you will not get either comfort or truth only soft soap and wishful thinking to begin, and in the end, despair." - C.S. Lewis

But in the end, I think that rock bottom is actually the best place to be.
You see everything with the knowledge that you have suffered, are suffering, will suffer, and yet life goes on. And it does go on - at the rate of 60 minutes per hour, no matter who or where you are. You can build yourself into exactly who you want to be.

Just know that you may be surrounded by people who care a might more for you than you may realize.

Oh, also a good point.
I think I'm kind of falling right now and waiting for something to catch me. Safety net, ahoy!
