Thoughts: Is this a good thing? Or a great thing?

I don't think it could exactly hurt Alaska, but I think she'll be back.

Yeah, I think Alaska will be okay, if not great, without her. But I agree with the many news articles, she's not just going to casually go away... she'll be back. I don't know how/why/when, but I think she will.

For some reason that last part of your post reminded me of the end to a horror film where they are trying to have a sequel.

And I, for one, am just as afraid of Sarah Palin's return as I am of that one.

I think she will be back somehow, with the stir she caused in politics when she was a part of it there are people behind her now who see her as a valuable tool, people who are very politically savvy... i.e. not her.

However... i am a Bad Person...

I think she's going to do a "comeback" for 2012, and hopefully lose even in the Republican party.
