Nerdfighters

Okay, so I want your opinions on something. I have to pick my classes for next year and I'm for sure taking: Art 3, Photography 1, French 2, Honors english 11, and US History. I am not taking math, because all I can take is Pre Calc, which I know I'm not capable of passing. I have all the math credits I need to graduate anyway. I don't need another science either, but I may take physics. This is where my issue comes in. After I graduate, I'm not going to a university. I'm going to an art school, or to a JC then an art school. I feel I should take another actual course, as I am already taking 3 electives(art 3 photo and french 2). But I realllllllly want to take Pschology. I plan on usong art therapy as a back up career, so it would be a good class to take. But it's an elective. I'm really conflicted. What do you guys thing?

BUMP?
Do you know what art school you want to attend? If so, it might help to check their website for what high school courses they want you to take. Additionally, you can think about what you can take next year as well and factor that into the decision.
All the art schools I plan on applying to only require basic art classes and graduation requirements
1. If you don't think you can pass PreCalc, I would NOT recommend taking Physics. I'm currently in both of those courses, and I'll tell you honestly that Physics is easily the hardest course I have ever taken. I'm not even that bad at math, but Physics will be the death of me.

2. I think it's fine to take psychology if that's what you really want. It's important to remember that no matter what you want schools to see on your transcript, YOU are the one that is going to have to live through a year of those classes. You should be enjoying the courses you take, especially your senior year.
Of course, if your schedule allows room for it without leaving you with no free periods, I would suggest taking another academic course as well. It's always good to take a wide range of subjects.

It just occurred to me that I should take my own advice, but I know I won't. I really want to take psychology next year, along with humanities. And I want to take a level 0 Calculus, not AP. But I won't, because there's too much pressure in my school. So since I won't take my own advice, you take it! It needs to go somewhere!

p.s. Good luck ;]
I agree with what she said about Physics. I'm taking both Calculus and Physics this semester, and most of the people at my school that have both agree that Calculus is a lot easier. I'm good at math, but I have been struggling like crazy to keep my grade up in Physics. Compared to Physics, Pre Calc is a walk in the park on a nice sunny day.
So after consulting my mother, and reading through what you guys, and some other internet friends, I'm taking psych. Thanks guys =)
you will learn A LOT.
Ok, just so you know, to be an art therapist you have to be a regular therapist first. Which means you probably have to take some heavy duty psych classes in College, and statistics is a pre-requisite for most psych programs. So you might want to look into statistics. (And in my experience, pre-calc makes stats easier. Or at least seem easier by comparison)
