Capitalism vs Socialism

I am a nerdfighter who like politics, and I am a socialist. I have recently wondered why not more countries are socilistic, since this have turned alright for Norway. I would love your views on this case :)

In my experience most people are dumb as a box of rocks in some area's but damm smart in other areas. Just because you disagree with a person in one area doesn't mean he is stupid. Keep in mind something may happen and you realize that you were wrong and just didn't know it. Some people just can't articulate an argument well. That doesn't mean they are wrong.  In my humble opinion.

Thomas while it is true that some can't afford health care and we do need to do something about that. I personally believe in universal healthcare. But I don't know who is feeding you a bunch of BS about America. You act as if we just have people dying all over for lack of emergency care. That is just not so.    Plus your statement about private schools with brainwashing and ideology. They teach the same things the three r's. They just do it better. Are you saying that if a teacher is good and her students learn a lot she shouldn't be compensated for her extra effort to reach kids. Govt just is FULL of red tape and bureaucratic BS. That is why private is better. They are more flexible. In my opinion.

Personally i like Socialism better. Capitalism evokes competition when in theory is great as in theory everyone has a fair shot. But as far as im concerned "meritocracies" dont exist and there is never going to be a moment where every single individual in a nation will have the same opportunity and benefits as everyone else. and a competition where nothing is really fair is just a messed up excuse.
