Nerdfighters

I have a serious auditory disorder. I cannot stand certain sounds. IE: Gum chewing. Carboard boxes touching. Paper cutting. Forks rubbing on a plate. People scratching their head.

What bothers you?

Sniffling, hiccups, teeth touching each other, chair squeaks, ceiling fans, cars starting, F and G together, bullhorns, loud applause, gasping for air, sighs... basically any unnecessary noise causes me to freak out a bit inside my head, moreso if it's unexpected or I don't like the person who is causing it.

I don't know why it bothers me so much; it just does.

anything on a chalkboard makes me have this weird sensation on my fingernails like they are being pulled off, so yeah, dont like chalkboards. I also dont like the sound of other people typing or when you can hear what they are listening to on their ipod or whatever

I hate the sound of chalk, dry hand on paper, pencils, hands being rubbed together. Bleh, there's a lot of sounds that bother me. My friend has a habit of scrapping her nails with another nail and it drives me absolutely insane.

Plastic bags, loud car engines ( we own a classic cars and I've always hated how their engines are louder than the moderns) chalk on blackboards, clocks ticking, snores, little dogs' bark, and if you live in a house who had stray cats wandering on the roof then you'll definitely hate hearing get intimate with each other.

When I wear my glasses to bed to read a bit before I sleep, I try to avoid touching the pillow to the glasses because I hate the sound/feeling of the end of my glasses rubbing against a pillow.

I know it's weird...

The sound of my lip ring hitting my teeth when my mouth is open. Creeps me out haha.

Buzzing insects, humming electricity and ticking clocks.

Metal utensils rubbing against plates and bowls. Chalk on a chalkboard. And that squeaking sound that some mechanical pencils make when people write with them. It's just awful.

Other people's mastication.

Cutlery scraping teeth or dishes.

Nail clippers.

When the eraser on a pencil is all gone and you try to erase and the metal screeeeches against the paper.

Slurping of soup. Rubbing tongue against teeth.
