I, probably among many others, am very excited for season 7. I thought it'd be fun to share our speculations and things we would like to happen. I hear that Jack might be coming back, and I'm psyched for that, but I want to hear what everyone would like to see in season 7. What type of companions do you want to see? Do you want anyone to come back as a full time companion? What enemies do you want to see return? I'm excited to hear everyones thoughts.

Permalink Reply by Oliver Mohr on February 3, 2012 at 5:11am I'd like to know how the Silence controlled the TARDIS on it's own at when it exploded is Season 5. Maybe I missed the explanation, but I don't think we know.
Permalink Reply by Neira on February 3, 2012 at 3:58pm I think that the Master and the Timelords will return, because that would be the most logical explanation for the past 2 sessions. If the question is "Doctor Who?" who else could give us a better answer than his own race? They really seem keen on getting back for the time lock and who can blame them? Being stuck in a war must really suck.
I know that Moffat said that he likes the idea of Doctor being the last of his kind, but that might have been a decoy.
We won't see much more of Amy and Rory or River. We have at least two more episodes with her, but I don't think she'll ever become a full time companion.
Permalink Reply by Lily Pond on March 17, 2012 at 12:25am I know some people really like her but the whole Doctor/River two different time lines going different directions confused me a bit to much. Also I find that River was a bit to perfect because she supposedly had all the answers I've gone over her episodes read the wikkipeda page and it still makes no sense. Then again one must never apply logic or common sense to Who.
Permalink Reply by DftbaGigantes on February 3, 2012 at 4:53pm I definitely want to see Donna and Arthur make another appearance, they're my two favorite companions. Would be interesting to see what kind of explainations (sp?) we'll get in season 7 since 5 & 6 have been WAAAAACK. in a good way, of course.

I somehow have a feeling that The Answer will be very depressing, like that they're going to blame the Doctor for all the evils of the universe, and make him somehow responsible. I found that the show has been getting darker and darker, and that the reason he hides his name is because he's ashamed of who he is. I think its going to be "a murderer" and then he's going to attempt suicide but his friends will save him somehow and he's going to be a grump in Season 8. My mom and brother think that the question can't be answered because if it is, something will happen to the universe. My friend thinks he created humans, which is why we look like Time Lords.
Either way, I'm 100% sure they won't tell us his real name. That would be a break with the traditions of the show.
Or, knowing him, he might find a way of avoiding the answer. He's been doing it all his life, so maybe it actually WON'T catch up to him.
I was wondering, what do you guys think it could be?
And one more question: how many regenerations does he have left. Because he said in Sarah Jane Adventures that he has 507 regenerations, but in the original show Time Lords have 13 bodies (I guess they didn't expect the show to be so enduring ;D)? The Master, however, has had more than 13 bodies, and in "The Curse of the Fatal Death," which, while being a parody, is written by Steven Moffat, they hinted that the Doctor can just regenerate and regenerate all he wants.
Permalink Reply by Clara Joy Poshusta on March 5, 2012 at 10:17pm I wonder what will happen if the doctor gets stuck with one of his old companion's kids. I would love to see an episode like that.
That would be so cute! :D XD
Permalink Reply by Stephanie Cervantez on March 5, 2012 at 11:31pm The tenth Doctor has a clone living with Rose in an alternate dimension, they've left everything wide open for him to come back at anytime. If they could magically bring back Donna somehow that would be great, even though I really don't know how that would be possible. Also like everyone else is saying, I want to see Jenny again really badly.
That's true! For once it wouldn't be a paradox to have two actors who played the Doctor on screen together, because Blue Doctor/Metacrisis Doctor is human and a separate character! :D
Permalink Reply by Lily Pond on March 17, 2012 at 12:20am I think that it would be great to have a story arch that leads up to the master for the fifth anniversary. I'm also just all around stoked to have the wonderful words of Moffat grave my TV screen once again. The only thing I have heard about DW lately is that Benedict Cumberbatch may or may not be playing the master who is rumoured to be returning for the 50th year. I don't think they need a new master, even if a new take on him would be great, because at the when the Doctor goes to shoot the whitepoint star he tells the master to get out the way and then he jumps out of the way and I think he must have skipped out before the whole radiation chamber-thing. Ergo unless he regenerated off scene at any point during season 5-6 then they don't need a knew master.
