Suggestions for me to Read?

Hello there! I have been looking for books to read but am having trouble finding ones that fit my taste.

Things I am looking for:

YA books

it will be greatly appreciated if it has horses in it, but this is not required

Things I DO NOT want:

John Green books ( I already know about all of them ,and plan on reading them...I'm in the middle of an abundance of Katherines)

Vampire Books (so sick of those!)

Werewolf Books (or any other weird being that enjoys the act of killing, or that killing is instinctual to)

Books that include solving murders or dissappearences where the person is dead

 

Please, if it is not too much to ask, tell me the title, author, and a summary...not including the ending :}P

i'm not really a horse person, so i don't have anything for you there ._.

BUT, i can recommend everything by scott westerfeld and everything by barry lyga. they are my favorite YA writers.

scott westerfeld does sci-fi/fantasy stuff. the uglies series and leviathan are both high on my list if really great reads.

barry lyga works more with real life. all the books of his that i have read are based in the same high school in the same town, which makes reading them interesting. they all sort of connect and hint at each other. the astonishing adventures of fanboy and gothgirl is really great.

the wish list by eoin colfer is also good.

i could go on and on xD
