We love this community and hope that we can band together to win the Udacity competition. Our team is called The Nerdfighters, filled with nerdfighters interested in learning and education. Our team leaders are Eda Tse and Laureen Chen, both from Stuyvesant High School in New York City.
The Udacity competition is a high school competition in which anyone can participate and learn through free college level courses.
We’re #11 out of 250 teams, so we’re close to the top! We know that the Nerdfighters are capable of great things and we hope you join us in making this competition another Nerdfighter achievement. (Even if we don’t win, we will at least learn cool things. I am currently taking computer science!)

Permalink Reply by Farzana Haque on July 4, 2012 at 10:36pm Udacity is run by professors at Standford. Most of the classes offered are computer related, including intro to computer science. But there’s also statistics, physics, and discrete mathematics. And if you complete some of these courses (especially the computer-related ones) it looks nice on both your college and job applications. It's free and online. You have until August 26th to complete it this summer.
