My fav game is Super Metroid on the SNES. The only way to play it now though is on the wii's virtual console or on an emulator.

Skyrim is my "newest" fav.  But my ALL TIME fave is still Legend of Zelda:Ocarina of Time...on the N64.  Still have that system and game, actually!

In terms of raw awesomeness I have to say that Shadow of the Colossus is really a game that I cannot sing enough praises for.  The game world map is huge, but quiet.  The contrast of exploration and battle is amazing and you get to climb giant monsters and stab them with your puny little sword!

Right now, I would have to say The Witcher 2. Does some interesting things different from other RPG's. Of all time? Probably either Persona 3 or Final Fantasy X.

my favorite game is star wars knights of the old republic for xbox and pc but for newer games i suggest mass effect series, gears of wars or the elder scrolls series.
