The ultimate Nerdfighter

So, if i may quote A.Heinlein- ''A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.''

That, i feel, should be true, in some degree, to nerdfighters as well... I don't think nerdfighters should be better racists but i do think that the perfect nerdfighter should be something that he isn't displaying himself to be right now... And we are here to remedy that!

Post in which way, the perfect nerdfigher differs from what the world would currently imagine himself to be.

Here's my suggestions (I should probably say that my image of the perfect nerdfighter is Hank and John pushed together, since i haven't spent much time on the forums yet):

 - Exercise - I think the need for that comes from our history. A mere few centuries ago, 95% of the population was working hard physical labor all day, almost everyday. Today, we are lucky enough for this not to be the case. But our bodies evolved in this condition, and they need some action to feel right. My exercise of choice is weightlifting, but there's running, swimming, all kinds of sports, martial arts... Anything as long as it makes you physically tired when you go to sleep, probably does the job.There were some vague attempts in this direction at some point or other, but i don't see it as something that the nerdfigter community would expect of their perfect member...

 - Love for the outdoors/nature - I love hiking, camping,and being in the wild, it has enriched my life and has led to some of the greatest revelations in my life. But maybe thats just me. In the most practical sense i can show it, a horse once bit me on the neck, and it was a sign of affection. Understanding this, you understand a big deal about horses, and understanding nature is a very important thing, if we want to save it, right?

Hopefully nerdfighters don't mind reading long long texts, or my thread will be swept away like an autumn leaf....

Blaming you? Oh no my dear narcissistic boy! This applies to the nation on a whole. Compared to the likes of Scotland, where no such fool could ever gain office, you lot went ahead and granted him it twice in a row!

The difference between America and Scotland is this. In America if a fool gets elected into office the whole world knows about it. In Scotland if a fool gets into office nobody notices.

The problem with elections in Scotland is that you decided that running your nation was simply too complicated and let the English do it for you. 

The problem with America is that they should have let England continue to do it for them.

You forget to mention the reason everyone knows. Which is simply because everyone needs to remember that a complete cuif has been elected by the 'free' world.

The whole Scotland/American thing is a running joke. 

The functional definition of a Nerdfighter is anyone who wants to be a nerdfighter is a nerdfighter (as is declared by John Green). 

As for being the best possible thing, the only constraint is to not forget to be awesome.  What that means is different for each individual. 

If you have a set goal for how to improve your awesomeness, it can benefit you and possibly others, but it won't apply to the nerdfighter template as the beauty of the template is its accessibility and simple, yet fractal, goal.

Yeah Thomas, everybody cares about America because it actually matters unlike your stupid country. The only time people talk about Scotland is to make jokes about how goofy you lot are.

Also now you made Puddlewhite hate me. My original post on this thread was very serious and now nobody will see anything beyond our little for-fun fight. Thanks a lot.
