There is no anti-stereotyping day/week!

I wrote something a bit back about not stereotyping and such, and was interested if there was a day or week out there against stereotyping. I was surprised to find there isn't, there are days for everything, so who thinks we should create a day for it!

Just because I have a penis, doesn't make me a d*ck.

Just because I am blonde, doesn't make me an idiot.

Just because I am fat, doesn't mean I don't have feelings.

Just because I dye my hair black, doesn't mean I cut myself.

Just because I rap, doesn't mean I go round knifing people.

Just because I am smart, doesn't mean I don't have a life.

Just because I am ginger, doesn't mean I am not a person.

Just because I wear a hoodie, doesn't mean I am a hooligan.

Just because I cry, doesn't make me weak.

Just because I write poetry, doesn't make me a girl.

Just because I am different to you, doesn't mean that you aren't to me.

So please, don't stereotype. Why?

I understand what you are saying, but the days/weeks/months aren't to force you to do something, it is to raise the awareness of it and remind people about it.

But anyway, there are months for most stereotypes, nothing for stereotypes in general. Also some just don't have as much hype.
