Nerdfighters

So as my first week of summer break comes to a close, I've come to realize I have an incredibly boring two months to look forward to. Which gave me an idea.

I'd like to compile a list of say 100 Things to Do This Summer and make a vlog or blog each day (or every other day more likely) detailing the adventure each one entails.

They can't be too extravagant as my funds and transportation is limited but other than that I'd love to hear any ideas you all have.

Well, if you live in a major city, as I do, audition for something! Be an extra in a movie, or something. Check craigslist or google to see what's going on around you and then go for it. I did and now I get to be a cheerleader in the background of a wildly popular Korean tv show. [No joke, I went with a friend, we did a short dance routine to "Hey Mickey" that we learned in the school musical last year, and we got in.]

Just curious: what TV show?

If you can get some buddies together you could go paintballing. ( I suggest wearings pants and boots, and taking some Gatorade, and if it is not to hot wearing a long sleeve shirt.)

The paint will not stain, I promise.

Well, it depends on how you like to spend your life. Some people like to actually do things like going on picnics, volunteering, getting a job, learning to play an instrument, creating epic art, or taking extra classes over the summer.

And then there's the people who like to spend all their time on 4chan, watch anime, and play WoW.

Both methods of living are equally awesome. In fact, living a well-balanced life requires a healthy dosage of the two. ;)

Question: Ideas for decorating a room without painting it?

Reply to This

Removable dorm room wall stickers. They're giant stickers you can put on your walls that come off easily. Generally used to decorate dorms.
Posters, collages, bulletin boards, etc.
Beads, curtains

Hang stuff up. Like, if you've got a small wall, you could hang up a curtain or a cool-looking bed sheet there. Also, moving stuff around. If your room is small this might be hard but it does make a difference.

You could always get an interesting light fixture or else the classic, posters!

Well, I'm planning on going to a thrift store and buying a bunch of old records and putting the covers up on one of my walls.
And also, I'm going to take an old bedsheet, splatter it with paint, and hang that up on one wall. Painting your walls without actually paiting your walls?

If you want you could also study a martial art. I study Tae Kwan Do. But there a LOT out there. Just do some research on one before you pick it.
