Tim & Eric Awesome Show: Great Job (FAIL!)

Can somebody PLEASE explain why this show does so well? Seriously, I don't get it. I've tried to watch it, and I'll admit I've chuckled once or twice, but for the most part it's retarded. It's just a couple of dudes actin' like retards in front of a camera with the occasional use of a green screen. And they pause in the middle of their sentences like they spent all of five minutes preparing for the scene. I've seen way better channels on YouTube and way better videos on the ning. I'm sorry, but I like a little effort. So please, can somebody explain the appeal of this show to me?

They some how got the support of the Brilliant comedians like Bob Odenkirk, Maria Bamford, and Brian Posehn. They've basically been coasting since "Tom Goes to the Mayor."

Actually it reminds me of when Will Ferrell, who I like, started praising 'Foot Fist Way.'
