Time Travel

If you could time travel to any point in history (without affecting the present/future), what time would you visit and why?

Or if you want to go to the future, what do you think you'd see?

I would want to see Florence and Venice during the Renaissance -- especially during the Carnevale. Then I'd travel down to Cosenza to see the foundation of my father's home town.

My other option would be London, sometime between 1599-1601 so I could see Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet on stage.

I'd go back to when life first appeared and videotape all of evolution from then until present, then come back and be like "SEE! TOLD YOU!"

I'd also go to when JFK was assassinated and find out where he was shot from. I'd go investigate all those other mysteries/conspiracies, like Roanoke, etc.

I would want to visit the victorian era around the 1840s so I could meet the Bronte sisters and Jane Austen. It would be so wonderful!

I would like to see the Renaissance, but for some reason I'd also love to live during the French Revolution. I'm not sure why, but in my AP Euro class it was so very fascinating to learn about. I really found it interesting, and I'd love to have met Napoleon at the end of it all. It'd be interesting.
