So, what books are people reading right now? What are they about? What do you think of them? Would you recommend them?
I tend to read two or three books at a time. Currently, I'm making my way through the following:
I only just started Ishmael, but The Omnivore's Dilemma is very good.

It's a murder mystery novel except with cats. It's pretty disturbing, a good amount of sex and gore. It's oddly hard to put down thought. I don't really even understand why I enjoy it.

Permalink Reply by Morgan on December 14, 2011 at 4:04pm I'm reading Inheritance : The Vault of Souls by Christopher Paolini. I'm kind of indifferent to it so far. It doesn't seem to be as enduring or interesting as the first two books of the series. Lots of summary, tons of it. I'm only 25% through, so hopefully it'll pick up in pace.
Permalink Reply by Danno on December 15, 2011 at 10:19pm haven't read any of inheritance yet, but i've found most fantasy series guilty of this over recap. sounds like it should be wrapped up though.

About to start "The Pirate's Son" by Geraldine McCaughrean
Permalink Reply by Neira on December 27, 2011 at 3:21pm "The Fortress" by Mesa Selimovic. He's a local author and the book is awesome so far. When I finish it, the next one will be "The Dervish and the Death".
Permalink Reply by Amanda Sanders on December 27, 2011 at 8:58pm I am currently reading The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, I'm about half way through and I'm really into it! Has anyone else read it!! I am still a little confused on how how his soul and the painting are linked - though it may still get into that!
I just got a Kobo Vox E-Reader from my parents for Christmas and this is the first book I'm reading on it :) does anyone else have one?!? What do you think of them?!? :)
